How to get there:

By Bike – Pedal Through History

From Rotterdam Central Station, it’s just a 10-minute bike ride to the Van Nelle Fabriek. Rent an OV-fiets (public bike) right at the station and follow Beukelsdijk and Beukelsweg. You’ll arrive straight at this iconic site. A quick, energizing way to start your day.

By Public Transport – Quick and Easy

Option 1: Bus
Take bus 38 from Rotterdam Central (platform DD). Get off at the Beukelsbrug / Van Nellefabriek stop. The ride takes around 8 minutes and buses run frequently. From the stop, it’s just a 2-minute walk to the entrance.

Option 2: Tram
Hop on tram 8 towards Spangen. Get off at Spartastraat. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Van Nelle Fabriek.

On Foot – For the Enthusiasts

Feeling like a pre-race stroll? Walking from Rotterdam Central takes about 35–40 minutes (3.1 km). A perfect warm-up if you're up for it.

By Car – Easy Access from the A20

Coming by car? From the A20, take exit 13 (Spangen). Follow the signs for “Van Nelle Fabriek” – it’s well marked. After exiting, turn onto the Spaansebocht and continue onto Schuttevaerweg. From there, follow the signs to Entrance 3 via the speed gate.
