What is the Van Nelle FAIVE K?
The Van Nelle FAIVE K is the first running festival in the Netherlands! All day long, 5K races take place at different levels. But it’s more than just running — expect DJ sets, food trucks, and an electrifying running community. It all goes down on September 7th, 2025.

How does the Van Nelle FAIVE K work?
Throughout the day, we’re hosting multiple 5K heats at different paces and experience levels—from beginner to (sub)elite. Whether it’s your first-ever 5K, a fun run with friends, or an all-out PR chase, there’s a heat for you! One heat = five 1K laps in and around the stunning Van Nelle Fabriek.

Who can participate in the Van Nelle FAIVE K?
Participants aged 12 and up are welcome to join the regular 5K heats. For younger runners under 12, we offer a special 1K Kids Run — a fun and safe way to get involved! The festival grounds are accessible to all ages.

Can I join if I’m not an experienced runner?
Absolutely! The Van Nelle FAIVE K is for everyone—whether you're running your first 5K, chasing a new PR, or just here for the vibes. Pick the heat that matches your pace and enjoy the ride.

What time does my race start?
You’ll find this in your confirmation email. Please make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your heat starts, so you have enough time to pick up your bib.

When will I receive my ticket?
All participants will receive their ticket one day before the event. You’ll need this ticket to pick up your race bib at the event location. With your ticket you can collect your bib just before the race at the festival.

What if I bought a ticket for the wrong heat?
No worries! If you accidentally purchased a ticket for the wrong heat, please contact us at info@faiverunning.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help you switch to the correct one, depending on availability.

What is the waiting list?
If a heat is sold out, you can join the waiting list by signing up for that specific heat. When spots become available, you’ll get an email to purchase a ticket. Joining the waiting list is non-binding—first come, first run!

Can I leave the festival grounds during the event and re-enter again?
Unfortunately, once you leave the festival grounds, you cannot re-enter.

Are there lockers?
Lockers are available for rent at Van Nelle FAIVE K. You can reserve one in advance via the ticket shop or rent on-site. They are located at the festival entrance.

Are there changing rooms and showers?
Changing rooms will be available. Showers are not guaranteed but we’re trying to provide them.

Can I attend as press?
Press requests can be sent to info@faiverunning.com between July 1st and September 1st. Include your media outlet and coverage plans.

Can I bring my pet to this event?
Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds.

How can I pay at the bar?
This is a PIN-only event. All payments at the bar must be made by debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted. Contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) are accepted.

Can I park at the event?
Parking is only available in designated parking areas and requires a pre-booked parking ticket. Please purchase your parking ticket in advance. Parking without a valid ticket is not permitted.

Do non-runners need a ticket to enter the event?
Non-runners can enter for free until 15:00 but must reserve a free ticket (€0) online before arrival. After 15:00, all visitors need a paid ticket purchased online. Tickets cannot be bought at a ticket counter or kassa at the door.
